What to Expect
Our borate termite treatment is applied directly to exposed wood during construction, providing long-term protection where termites feed. The treatment dries clear, and a light blue indicator is applied to show where coverage has been completed. As it dries, the wood may appear slightly darker for a short period before returning to its natural look.

WING 8’s borate treatment targets termites at their source — the wood itself. The solution penetrates deep into the wood and remains active over time, delivering long-lasting, broad-spectrum protection without breaking down like traditional treatments.
No Insect Resistance
Borate treatments use a unique mode of action that prevents termites and other insects from processing nutrients. Because of this, insects are unable to develop resistance, making it a reliable long-term solution.
FHA/VA Loan Approved
Our borate treatments meet HUD requirements and include all necessary documentation for FHA and VA loans.

This treatment can contribute toward green building certifications, including LEED® for Homes, NGBS, and other sustainability programs.
Warranty Protection
Homeowners receive a free 12-month warranty along with a 30-year renewable termite damage warranty. An annual SMART® Termite Warranty Inspection is required to maintain coverage.
